Marc turned 30 this week! He will be thrilled that I am sharing that with the whole internet, lol. We had a bacon themed birthday, although, now that he's getting up there in years we'll probably have to cut back on stuff like that...
We decided to put Wegman's to the test to see if it could measure up to HEB frosting. It was pretty close. Not quite as good, of course, but close enough. As cute as Marc is when he eats cake, Nora is just a smidge cuter, so you get pictures of her instead:
Our wonderful neighbors watched the girls so I could take Marc out for some birthday sushi. We did some awesome family photos before we left:
Teresa was less-than-thrilled to participate. But she perked up to take pictures with the birthday boy. Or "my man" as she likes to call him.
I got Marc a smoker attachment for his grill and he was excited to break it in by smoking some ribs. We were lucky to get some gorgeous weather and the girls had a blast playing in the backyard while we waited to eat.

Teresa liked the ribs pretty well, but Nora just couldn't get enough! Despite her petite frame, girlfriend can really eat.
Our cute little princesses - we got lucky at Target the day after Halloween and scored some princess dresses for cheap. The girls could hardly wait to get home and get them on.
We picked up our copy of Brave today, the girls had fun doing Merida related art while they were waiting to watch it.

Those are great pics ... nice of all of you! Yep, it's great being 30 ... isn't it Marc! The girls look like they really enjoyed HIS day ... There were so many hilarious and comment-worthy things in this post! Now, to remember them all... Alright. First off, congratulations on being OLDer, Marc! So cool that you had a bacon-themed bday! And haha, yeah, even though Marc is a handsome fella, three pics of him eating cake woulda felt like overkill. With Nora, it's like: is three ENOUGH? ;) I LOVE T's expression in the family pics. Love it. And I love that she calls Marc "my man," haha! Nora's hat in the backyard pics is adorable! And that move on the octopus merry-go-round is pretty amazing. Get that girl into gymnastics! The dress on Nora is cracking me up. It's huge! HUGE! But she's having fun, so it doesn't matter. We just got Brave, too, so I'm excited to watch it again. Anyway, great post, and happy bday, again, Marcus!
