The Hospital Tour

Yesterday we had a chance to tour the hospital where our little one will make her debut. While that was fun, I wanted to give you all a preview of the show since you wont get to be there.

The Doctor: (assuming he's there)

The Hospital:

The Lead:

We learned about checking in, got a chance to see the rooms, and learned a little bit more about the processes and services available to us. I don't know if all labor and delivery rooms are this nice, but they have 10 private rooms with semi-comfortable beds ready for delivery. The nurse admitted that these aren't the best beds, but she added, "You're going to be working while you're in here." The post partum rooms are private and offer more comfortable beds with flat screen TVs. While we can't film the delivery (do you really want to see that anyways?), we can film her first bath and will make this available online much to our daughter's future embarrasment. The nursery looks nice and there was a cute new baby in there while we were visiting, although he didn't hold a candle to our future addition. Most importantly the hospital has free WiFi, so we'll be able to give you guys play-by-play updates via Twitter and Facebook.

Woohoo! Play-by-plays!! I can't wait to see the little lassie! especially in a sure-to-embarrass-her-in-the-future video, heehee :D Though she's lookin' pretty cute in that picture... The hospital sounds great -- remember, Marcus, you're there to take care of your wife and baby, NOT to watch the flat screen! too much, anyway...

Lol! Nice, thanks for the intro. I can't wait to meet the leading lady! Of course he didn't hold a candle to Teresa, not possible. Sounds like an awesome set up!

Yay! Such exciting steps toward delivery. You forgot to mention the killer room service menu...really the best part about this hospital. ;o) Can't wait to meet Teresa!!!

I am sure your leading lady will be way cuter than that picture!

I am so excited for you..only a few more weeks. Just remember that these last few weeks will last FOREVER, but somehow you will blink your eyes and Teresa will be 6 weeks old.

This is Mom ...
I wonder if Dr Fitzpatrick knows he graces the intro to your blog entry ... nice of him to get all dressed up for the photo :) (You probably found it on one of his official bits of paper.....)

This "almost there" anticipatory time is so exciting!!! ... all the "can't waits" and "can't sleeps" almost make ya burst at the seams :) :) :) We are sharing those emotions with you, but on a more grandparently level, which is different than yours of course :)

Love you all, Mom (Dad too)xox
