Against our better judgement, we took the girls to the Easter egg hunt here on base. Nora was pretty excited.
Last year almost all the eggs in the 0-2 group were empty. This year they all had bubble gum in them. I'm thinking whoever puts the eggs together does not have children.
T was pretty overwhelmed. You can see her there in the middle with all the parents that decided all the announcements saying "no parents allowed in the 3-5 group" didn't apply to them. The kids weren't too bad, but the parents got a little crazy. Teresa was near tears when she got out, but she perked up when she started to open her eggs.
This is not bunny related, but we finally got a good snow fall and the girls had a blast playing in it. Teresa loved sledding down our little hill, but Nora just said "I NOT do dat again" after I took her down.
T's face was pretty awesome when she saw that the Easter Bunny had come to our house.
She said her favourite part of her basket was the "giant chocolate bunny". She finally got to start eating him today and thought it was so hilarious once she ate his ears off.
I wasn't planning on getting them new Easter dresses this year, but they saw these in Costco last week and fell in love.
Nora's at the perfect age for photographing - girl can't seem to take a bad picture these days. T on the other hand...
I used to make faces at them to get them to smile for pictures, but now they just imitate me instead.

The pics are so cute ... we love their new dresses ... size 3 and size 6? I like how you recycled the Halloween baskets for Easter...way to go! It looked like a fun time at the neighbourhood party even if adults decided to not obey the rules... yeah, what're they thinkin' with the gum in the eggs! Can't believe we got to look at snow ... we have none :( Teresa is so much taller than Nora ... they are so cute together ... all smiles fron the pair of them! Thanks for sharing ... we had fun ... love, Mom (Dad too) xox
Awww, their dresses are so lovely and matching! Haha... Maeve saw the hugging pic and said, "Oh, they are hugging!" and then, kinda under her breath: "big feet and little feet..." Because, you know, Tressa has big feet and Nora has little feet... For some reason, M's big into feet lately. Specifically how BIG hers are now that she's three... (I'm like, yeah... just wait, Maeve... just wait... ;)
T's expression seeing that the bunny came is AWEsome! Totally makes me laugh! And Nora absolutely photographs well! Soooo cute, she is! I, too, noticed the halloween baskets. Nice! This year was the first year our kids had REAL baskets (from the thrift store), so that was exciting.
Oh, Bran is wondering: How many eggs did Nora get, and how many eggs did Tressa get? And, he says, have a good Easter! Also, Nuala got the same big chocolate bunny as T.
Did y'all dye eggs this year? We didn't... oops... we meant to, but somehow it didn't happen. Luckily no one really noticed...
Mom, the dresses are 3 and 5 :). So funny about Maeve being in to feet. You can tell Bran that Teresa and Nora each got to find 10 eggs in the backyard. We didn't dye eggs either, I wanted too, since we've never done it with T yet...maybe next year.
Dru and I were looking at this blog post yesterday and we both commented on the size difference of your girls. It was funny that you mentioned how tall Dalia is getting. There's only a few inches difference between her and Mina. Dalia is a giant. We miss you guys so much and your girls just keep getting more adorable by the day. Mina really misses her best friend. Teresa and her cousin, William, are the only friends she ever talks about. She keeps asking if Teresa can come to the bounce house place in Texas with her for her birthday. So, maybe you should just come to Texas in a few weeks.
