An exercise in futility

What's the point of having two little girls to dress in matching dresses if you can't even take cute pictures of them? T is getting harder and harder to catch on camera these days. Occasionally she will look at us when we want to take her picture, but mostly she just flat out ignores us. And good luck getting her to smile! But, we keep trying. One of these days she'll switch back to being the little camera ham she was just a few weeks ago (I hope). We did manage to get a few pictures with her at least looking at the camera.

Here's what most of them looked like. Honestly, we have a whole camera full of Teresa either not looking at us, or just a blur of her running out of the shot. Silly girl. At least Nora is still pretty cooperative ;).

LOVE these! My little guy runs to the camera, so all you get is one eye or a hand as it reaches to take the camera away.He does make an adorable "eeeeeeeee" sound whenever he sees the camera though. That always makes ME smile! :)

Matching dresses!! Adorable! Nora looks so teeny tiny next to Tressa. Or Tressa looks so ginormous next to Nora...that's actually more like it. Hey, even with just a flash or a blur of T, the pics are super cute! Yeah, Nuala came over and said, "cuuuute!" all grown-up like, and had fun looking at the pictures. When she saw the Granny ones, she said, "Granny is not DEAD yet!" Nope...not yet...thankfully! We HAD been talking abt. how people usually don't die until they're very old, so that's where it came from, haha... Though I did say, "should she be because she's very old?" and she backtracked: "Her is not SO old..."

Anyway, I love the dresses, and the beautiful little girls in them. Very St. Patrick-y, too :)

Oh my gosh, Fiona, I nearly choked on my soup reading your comment. If Mom wasn't thinking about death before, she is now...

Tara, the matching dresses are ad.or.able! Oh my! Such cute pics of T lovin' on Nora, too! Even if she isn't looking at the camera, they're still such sweet pictures! It's also making me laugh how much Tressa is still the center of the photo taking. Poor Nora, she's just an accessory, LOL. I'm sure soon enough she'll demand her own spotlight! ;) Tressa's curls are so completely perfect! She looks like a slightly darker haired version of you at that age. Awww....you were such a doll! <3

Those are great pics ... and it was great to be there too ... Treasa was always in such a hurry to do stuff, and flying along on those little legs, it was almost impossible to get her to hold any type of pose longer than half a second. Love, Mom xox
